LIVING LABS FOR TOURISTIC DESTINATIONS

What if all of a sudden... we created a Tourism laboratory?

Each destination has its charm, its nature, history, and culture... it has the authenticity of the place that deserves to be visited (and preserved). But every tourist destination also has its challenges, especially in terms of the balance between communities, ecosystems, and visitors?

Issues such as sustainability, social equality, equity, and justice are some of these challenges. What if we joined together to find the best solutions, from all to all?

This is the motto that led us to the creation of the Living Labs of Creative Regenerative Tourism for tourist destinations.

Create real laboratories, which work challenges and solutions in a contextualized reality, to jointly find the best formula for each problem.

How do they work? in a very simple way:

• A challenge in a destination: having a complex issue associated with a challenge in Tourism for the destination

• Radical collaboration: forming a diverse working group with different tourism stakeholders, the surrounding community, and other people of interest

• Co-creation: application of the Design Thinking methodology in face-to-face sessions with the working group. Training of stakeholders in the methodology. Follow-up and clarification sessions.

• Prototyping and testing: the generated solutions with the local communities of the destination

• Implementation: put the solutions into practice, seeking a set of supporters and investors who will then be able to continue the projects

• Measurement and Evaluation: measure and evaluate the impact of the generated solutions and make the necessary adjustments for optimization

All processes are facilitated by our team and are always based on the principles of Creative Regenerative Tourism and on our action pillars.
